Sony A7r vs Leica M - Part 09 - Leica R APO Telyt 180 - English

Test procedure :

• Tripod and RAW
• ISO 200 on both camera
• Same speed at each aperture
• Focus done in liveview with maximum magnification.
• JPG from Camera RAW
• Temperature : Daylight
• Sharpening : 0
• Noise reduction : 0
• No other correction.
• Downsize of the A7r picture to the M size for a fair comparison. (Downsize image in bicubic smooth mode)

Conclusion :

From f3.4 to f5.6, the A7r is far beyond the M in the corners, very sharp results. In the center, the difference is quite small.
Beyond f8, the difference between A7r and the M is very small, in the center and the corners.
